Happy Birthday Jaden!

Last weekend we went to cousin Jadens birthday party at Fargos. The kids had so much fun playing with their cousin.

Bowling

We went to Greeley a fews ago and spent the weekend with Grandpa Tim & Diane. We took the kids bowling for the first time. They loved it! They had so much fun using the slide to help their ball get down to the pins. It's was a great weekend.

Happy Valentines Day!

Valentine Party At School

Noah had a fun Valentines Party at school. I was able to spend the morning in his classroom and help out. They loved how the room was decorated and all their tasty treats. The were able to Bingo and some other games. It was a great day!

The moms and I have so much fun decorating the classroom for their party. Scott surprised the kiddos with these big red balloons. It was a neat to see the kids reactions when they walked into the room.

The kids each decorated their own bags and I filled them with all the goodies the parents brought in. The bags were filled to the top!

Making Valentines For Class

This is what we are giving the kids in Noah's Class. They each get a bag of candy with play doh, a valentine and a cup. The kids and I had an assembly line going. Noah would put the candy in the bag, Kaitlyn would put in the play doh and I would tie on the valentine. The kids did great and we got them all done.

Valentine Cookies

The kids enjoyed making valentine cookies.
I love this picture of Kaitlyn and Skittles.

Tea Party

Kaitlyn and Noah love to have tea parties with their grammy.

Grandparents Day : January 25, 2008

Pre k and Kindergarten were together for the program. This is the poem they said for their grandparents:
"Cool and Sweet"
Grandpa is a cool dude, Grandma is so sweet, Grandpa laughs at all my jokes, Grandma gives me treats. They teach me about the Bible, and how to love and pray, they show God's love to my family, and they love me everyday.

Most of the grandparents were able to attend for the program. Then everyone went to Noah's classroom to have snacks.

Shaving lesson 101

Noah likes to watch Scott shave in the mornings. Noah asked if he could shave too, so Scott turned his razer around and helped him. It was cute to watch!

Kaitlyns Birthday Party

I wanted to to share a few photos of Kaitlyns party. We had a wonderful turn out and I'm glad everyone was able to attend. It was a wonderful afternoon!

Laundry Tip!

This is for all you moms out there. Last night I opened the dryer and to my surprise everything was covered in red (melted) crayon. This has happened to us before and usually I end up picking through the clothes to see what I can save, then just toss the others. Well I thought there has to be something out there to get it out. So I got online and googled "dried crayon on clothes." Sure enough some other moms had posted their recipes for taking out the crayon. So I thought I'd better try one and see if it really works. Specially since some of the clothes were Scott's nice work ones. I put the wash on small load, very hot water and added the following:
1 cup detergant
1 cup white vinegar
1 cup oxy clean
1 cup shout

I left the lid open so the washing machine wouldn't continue to do it's job and let the clothes soak in it over night. This morning I shut the lid and when the clothes were done, I was amazed! IT WORKED!!!! I couldn't believe it!! Everything was saved and the white (pink faded) shirts came out sparkling white. So, it this ever happens to you try this recipe. It was awesome : )
