Building a Snowman

Scott and Noah built a snowman last week. The snow was perfect for rolling a big ball. They had so much fun and I enjoyed taking pictures.

Both cats decided to watch from the window.

We used 2 suckers for the eyes, a carrot for the nose and pretzels for the mouth. By the next day it looked like the snowman was crying because the suckers were melting blue and purple.

Our finished snowman!

Children's Museum in Pueblo

We went to the Children's Museum in Pueblo and it wasn't anything like the one in Denver. They had a lot of art stations but that's about all. We were able to make a few art projects and decorate a cookie. They did have a stage and the kids plus Scott got picked to participate. Scott was a big tree and had to hold up a sheet with another lady and wave his arms like the wind was blowing. It was quit comical. Noah was picked to be a rooster and Kaitlyn was a baby pig. It was pretty funny, if only I had brought the video camera. Then we went to lunch at a little Mexican restaurant, that was fabulous. But we probably won't go back to the Museum any time soon.

Kaitlyn was a the baby pig. She didn't say her lines, except kept trying to tell Scott "I need to go to the bathroom"

Noah the rooster

Noah was trying to say his lines and make a noise like a rooster. It was so cute!

Denver Childrens Museum

A few weeks ago we went to the Children's Museum in Denver. We had so much fun. The kids enjoyed it so much that we'll be going back again soon. The had 2 levels of activities that you could do. You could play in the woods, go grocery shopping, dress up like an animal, paint, play sports and much more. I highly recommend it for those of you that have kiddos.

The kids were in line to play basketball. Noah really enjoyed it, but Kaitlyn wanted to do something else.

They had a neat section where the kids could dress up as a different animal and climb up a hill and through holes. Noah was a rabbit, an ant and a worm by the time we were done. Kaitlyn tried one on but didn't like it, she just wanted to run around.

They had a dancing stage that you could get dressed up like different characters and the kids had so much fun!

Noah and Scott were making a helicopter out of recycled material. It was really neat!

Christmas 2007

This Christmas we stayed in town and had a wonderful time. We had 7 Christmas' to do in 4 days, it was really busy, but fun. Scott bought me new Nikon camera so I was able to take many pictures, 300+. I tried to make a slide to show everyone, but it didn't work. I just posted a few of the many pictures that I took.

Scotts side of the family

A few weeks before Christmas, we watched the movie "The Polar Express". At the end of the movie Santa gives the little boy a bell from his sleigh. Well, for Christmas Santa gave Noah the book with the bell. When Noah opened the present, he was so excited that Santa gave him a bell too. It was really neat to see.

The kids got each got a huge stocking from Santa.

Greenshields side of the family

Noah was so excited about his new bike. He got a real tool set from his Uncle Craig, so Noah and Grandpa Tim were able to adjust the seat with them.

Grandpa Tim and Grandma Diane

Noah received a tool box with his name engraved in it. He was very excited.
