Lavender Gardens:
On Oct 29th, we had to check out of our room by noon, so we called Grammy and Aunt Cathy and we're trying to find something to do for the day. Both our planes didn't leave till about 9pm that night. We decided to go the Lavender Gardens on the side of the volcano Haleakala. What a gorgeous spot! The pictures just don't do it justice. They had a walking tour you could do but we thought we'd save some money and try it ourselves. So, we got a map and headed out. Noah, Amy and Emmalie were our tour guides. They had many different paths to take to look at all the different flowers and plants they had. I couldn't believe how big the Hydrangea's were. The flowers were breath taking.

The grounds of the lavender place was beautiful! Even the cows came across the gate to get a snack. The smell in the gift shop was incredible. Oh my gosh, if I could only get my house to smell like that. They had everything imaginable there to buy. I bought so much stuff, I couldn't put it in my suitcase because of the weight so I shipped it home. This is a picture of Grammy with Amy, Emily, Noah and Kaitlyn. Then one of Amy and Kaitlyn together.
The night we were leaving we stopped at a popular wind surfing spot before we headed to the airport. The waves were HUGE and looked so dangerous. There were many people out there wind and kite surfing and a few attempting to try to actually surf in the large waves. The wind was incredible and just a beautiful spot to go to.
Happy Birthday Mom~
Noah Lost His 2nd Tooth
ECA Golf-Walk Classic
ECA had their first Golf-Walk Classic in September at The Colorado Springs Country Club. I had been working there since August in the Golf Shop and had to work that day. I was able to sneak out for awhile and take some pictures of Noah and Kaitlyn. Noah was able to go around with his chapel chum Logan and had a great time playing all the games. ECA raised $30,000.00. Scott, his step dad Don, brother Jeff an another gentleman won the golf tournament. They were so excited to have one 1st Place. Way to go Scottie!!!!
Noah Lost His 1st Tooth
Noah lost his first tooth on September 28, 2008. We were at a luncheon at my Aunt Beths house. Noahs tooth was pretty lose and I tried to pull it out with a napkin, but it just wasn't working. So, Uncle Craig said "let me try it" He grabbed it and out came the tooth. Noah was so excited but a little scared to see the blood. Craig didn't realize it was Noah's first tooth. We put it under a pillow and the tooth fairy gave him a $1.00. Noah wanted to leave a note for the tooth fairy saying he wanted to save his tooth and please don't take it. Well, she did and left him a very cute note back.
